E2-VET is a transnational
network of 17 partner from 9 countries
promoted in the context of the community program “Leonardo da Vinci”
Aims of the network are:
- Establishing permanent cooperative
structures in a European network and expert pool to the education and
further education in the sectors Information Technology (IT) and
mechatronics.
- Improved information provision and
identification of models of a good practice . The network will covers
training contents, training forms and methods as well as the collection
and documentation of available teaching and learning aids.
- Making "good-practice models" available
for adaptation to and implementation in the national vocational training
systems.Transfer activities are supported by a network portal.

The network cooperates
thematically in three fields of activity which collect and document existing
approaches in qualification and develop them into good practice models.
- Observatory:
observes and documents border-crossing qualification models, regional
development strategies and national qualification practices in the fields
of IT and mechatronics.

Integration/Adaptation: collects and documents products (i.e.
teaching and learning aids) in the fields of IT and mechatronics,
specialist jargon and intercultural communication.
- Innovation/Cooperation:
describes forms of qualification (distributed solutions, special
partnerships, full-time schooling etc.) and methods (e-learning etc.), to
document national qualification programs in the fields of IT and
mechatronics.
